Hello! My name is Liam and I'm a full-time school librarian from the North East of England. I began Crooked Quill back in 2020 when I was working as a children's bookseller and suddenly found myself with a lot of spare time due to a certain pandemic!

During lockdown, I taught myself how to use Photoshop and used my new-found design skills to create bookish posters and bookmarks inspired by some of my favourite novels. The response from family and friends was really positive so I decided to launch an Etsy shop to share my designs with other fellow book lovers! Three years and over 2000 sales later, I decided to launch my own website to take my bookish business to the next level.

When I'm not busy at work in the school library, I'm at home reading and working on new designs so you can expect to see new products added to the store regularly. If there's something specific you'd like to see, drop me a message and I'll do my best to make it happen!
