Refund policy

Crooked Quill has a 30-day return policy, which means you have 30 days after receiving your item to request a return. To be eligible for a return, your item must be in its original condition. To start a return, please contact me at liam@crookedquill.co.uk or via the contact form. Once your return is accepted, I will provide instructions on how and where to send your package. Items sent back without first requesting a return will not be accepted.

Please note, customers are responsible for return postage fees (except in the case of defects, damages, or incorrect items being shipped) and refunds will be processed once your return has been received and inspected. Damages and issues
Please inspect your order upon receipt and contact me immediately if the item is defective, damaged or if you receive the wrong item so that I can investigate the issue and rectify it. In the event that your order is defective / damaged or incorrect, a refund or replacement will be provided at no additional cost.

Exceptions / non-returnable items
Certain types of items cannot be returned, including sale products, gift cards, custom orders (i.e. bespoke / personalised items), made-to-order items, pre-orders, and digital downloads. Please get in touch if you have questions or concerns about your specific item.

Exchanges
If you would like to exchange your order for something else, please contact me at liam@crookedquill.co.uk to start the returns process. Once your return is received and inspected, your account will be refunded and you can place a separate purchase for your new order.

European Union 14 day cooling off period
Notwithstanding the above, if your order is being shipped into the European Union, you have the right to cancel or return your order within 14 days, for any reason and without justification. As above, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, and you remain responsible for return postage fees. You will also need the receipt or proof of purchase.

Refunds
I will notify you once I've received and inspected your return, and inform you whether your refund has been approved. If approved, you’ll be automatically refunded on your original payment method within 10 business days. Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process your refunds. If more than 15 business days have passed since your return was approved, please contact me at liam@crookedquill.co.uk.
